7th December 2012

Forty NWSS members gathered at Compton's in Horsham for our annual Christmas party. A great evening was had by all and we would like to thank the staff for looking after us.

1st December

NWSS member and regular coach 2 passenger, Ben Humphrey was one of the Albion mascots at Crystal Palace away. Here are Ben's words on a great day out. Well done Ben.

“When I was a mascot at Crystal Palace

First we went to the train and found Will the other mascot after we walked to the stadium from Norwood junction train station.

We got changed into our kits when we got there then we went into the changing rooms and got some autographs from the players and the manager. Next we went to the pitch and had a kick about with the palace mascots and we had to take some penalties then we went back in the tunnel and went out with the Brighton players I went out with Liam Bridcutt. Then joined the Brighton fans. Then we went home after 90 minutes.  And I loved it because we went on the pitch.”

13th November

The committee of North West Sussex Seagulls would like on the behalf of its members thank Craig Mackail-Smith for not only attending their November meeting at the Queens Head in Horsham but for taking the time to talk to everyone, have his photo taken with anyone that asked and signing all those autographs. Craig, you made a lot of people, old and young very happy. You are a true STAR.

11th November

The North West Sussex Seagulls were happy and proud to have been asked to donated a sum of money to help pay for the benches that have been placed in the memorial garden at the Amex. For those that have not yet visited the garden yet it can be found opposite the club shop.

If anyone gets the chance to go and visit Piglets, you really should take up the opportunity. Many thanks Jo. x

The third away trip of the season, saw a full NWSS coach make its way up to Liverpool for the 5th round of the FA Cup. Arriving in Liverpool in good time, the NWSS members were able to soak up the pre-match atmosphere around Anfield before cheering on the lads. Although the Albion were beaten by a much better team, the trip home was still a good one and even involved a lengthy overtaking manoeuvre to get past the team coach.
