22nd April 2014
A really well attended NWSS
spring meeting at the Holbrook Club last
night. It was great to see a fully packed room with every seat taken, and
especially pleasing to see so many youngsters in attendance as well.
A very interesting
presentation by Albion in the Community
CEO Michael Edwards on the work that AITC does in the Sussex area was
followed by a lively Q&A session with first team players Craig
Mackail-Smith and Inigo Calderon, an excellent evening. It was so good of
both players to stay behind for the obligatory photo and autograph signing
session. Macca & Calde were very relaxed, patient and friendly and showed
why they are such firm favourites with the fans. Both are great ambassadors
for the club, Brighton & Hove Albion should be very proud of them.
As always NWSS appreciates
the way the club makes players and other Albion staff available for our
meetings, it really does help to cement the relationship between the football
club and its fans. The work that AITC do in the Sussex area doesn't go
unnoticed either and we are pleased that we were able, in a small way, to
give some exposure to the good work that it does.
Thanks to Albion's Paul
Camillin for making the arrangements, BHA's very own Mr Snappy, Paul Hazlewood for attending and taking
the photos and to Paul Felgate & Adrian Phillips in making the Holbrook
Club available to us.
